Netball
St Thomas School and Preschool are excited to offer netball as an extra curricula sport; an engaging and active program designed to foster physical fitness, teamwork, and a love for sports among our young students. By involving parents as volunteer coaches, we create a nurturing and collaborative environment where both children and adults can share their enthusiasm for netball.
Our program focuses on teaching the essential skills of netball, including passing, shooting, footwork, and defensive strategies. With an emphasis on safety, skill development, and enjoyment, we aim to ensure that every child feels confident and excited to participate.
Whether your child is new to netball or has previous experience, our program welcomes all skill levels and encourages everyone to join in the fun. Come be a part of our netball community, where we build friendships, promote healthy lifestyles, and cultivate a strong sense of school spirit.
Netball is offered to students Year 2 – Year 6 throughout the year.
Matches are played on Monday afternoons.
Volunteers
Our extra curricula sport would not exist without our volunteers and we encourage parents/guardians to become a St Thomas volunteer.
