Cricket
St Thomas School and Preschool are delighted to offer cricket as an extra curricula sport; an exciting program designed to nurture physical fitness, teamwork, and a passion for cricket among our young students. By involving parents as volunteer coaches, we create a supportive and engaging environment where both children and adults can share their enthusiasm for the sport.
Our cricket program focuses on teaching the fundamental skills of the game, including batting, bowling, fielding, and game strategy. Prioritizing safety, skill development, and enjoyment, we aim to ensure that every child feels confident and motivated to participate.
Whether your child is new to cricket or has some experience on the field, our program welcomes all skill levels and encourages everyone to join in the fun. Be a part of our cricket community, where we build lasting friendships, promote active lifestyles, and foster a strong sense of school spirit.
Cricket is offered to students in Years 2-6 during Terms 1 & 4.
Matches are played on Saturday mornings.
Volunteers
Our extra curricula sport would not exist without our volunteers and we encourage parents/guardians to become a St Thomas volunteer.
